Good Thing

I was walking in the park this morning
I saw a woman with your eyes
They were blue just like a southern ocean
No resemblance otherwise
When I turned and watched her walking away from me
You were the farthest thing from my mind

It’s a good thing I don’t think about you no more
It’s a good thing I don’t think about you no more

I was talking to a friend of a friend of a friend
At this party downtown
She was coming on strong just like you used to
So I knew what was going down
When she gave me her number and she told me to call
It reminded me of nothing at all

It’s a good thing I don’t think about you no more
It’s a good thing I don’t think about you no more

I don’t think about the time when we were lovers
I don’t think about the touch of your hand
I don’t think about how you found another
While you told me that I was your man

So when I walk a woman home and she hands me her key
I wont even hesitate
And you know that when I kiss her that my mind will be free
Of all of the baggage that you left with me

It’s a good thing I don’t think about you no more
It’s a good thing I don’t think about you no more
